John Ross has played with some great national acts like, Will Arnold and the band "LAZER", from Atlanta,“Charlie Pickett & the MC3”, from Miami Beach, FL. That collaboration produced “The Wilderness” album, which was produced by Peter Buck of REM and gained national acclaim. After that gig, John headed to NEW YORK CITY and joined forces with the international band, “The Silos.” For a time, The Silos we’re the darlings of radio and magazines
alike. They appeared in, Rolling Stone, Musician, and were even voted by People Magazine as “Best New American Rock Band.” After non-stop touring across NORTH AMERICA, John decided that he wanted to do his own project and returned to his hometown of Greenville, S.C. and started...BABYLON.
After writing material for a year John decided to take his offerings outside of S.C. and added the S.E. States to his venues. With John on guitar and vocals, he then recruited Logan Ross to drums. Logan brings enthusiasm, talent, and technical skills to the skins, providing the driving force that is BABYLON! Next John added Jelly Bean to play bass.
