The Buddz formed in November 2006 in the small town of Bristol, TN. They started out playing covers and having a versatile set list. They would go from playing a KISS song into a rocked out prince cover. It certainly gained people's attention, but The Buddz were determined to start writing music. In 2008, they placed first in Big Mamas Regional Battle of the Bands, with a landslide victory, dominating over 100 other bands in the southeast U.S. From this, they won free recording time in a studio in Knoxville, TN. This studio time was used to record their first self titled album. The Buddz' first album completely sold out within the first two shows of being released. Since then they have played on live TV and worked with world famous producers in some of the best studios in the country. The next album is set to release in summer of 2013. Dave Fortman (produced Godsmack, Slipknot, Evanescence, Mudvayne, and many more) is producing The Buddz' upcoming album. So check out some great tunes and like them on facebook.
