The sound of Murphy and Speirs has newly arrived on music scene. After meeting at a party and sharing some original music as well as a few covers, they have created musical harmonies blending in a unique way that gives the impression they have been working together for years rather than weeks.
Bob Speirs, lead vocals, is an American singer/songwriter, who was born and raised in New York and holds dual citizenship in both the USA and Ireland. He now resides in Florida. He started playing the drums and guitar at 12 years old and wrote his first song at 16. His songs are inspired by personal experiences and the experiences of others.
He started a local group called the Orlando Juju’s, arranging the music to an Indie Rock sound. In November of 2012 the band was dissolved and he joined forces with Murphy to rearrange his music to the acoustic sound they perform today.
