Tom Juarez / Bio

Tom Juarez is a former actor who has appeared in scores of plays and who hosted the rock-video show "Night Flight" for 3 seasons in the early 90's. Tom's been writing songs since he was a teenager, but never had the confidence or resources to set them down.

Time and technology have conquered both, and Tom has waded into the waters of songwriting with an emphasis on wordsmithing, and a style that though nascent tends to fall either into the classic rock or alt country genres..

"Eventualities", Tom's latest album (2013) is about the places we find ourselves internally, whether we intended to be there or not, and the things we tell ourselves or each other to get through. This album contains 11 songs and took 3 years from start to finish and as with the last album, was entirely written, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Tom.
"Mens Rea" (Latin legal parlance for "guilty mind", one of the components of a crime), which Tom released in 2010, is an album about intentions and consequences -knowing that what we want to do might be wrong, and dealing with the fallout in the realms of politics, desire, and religion.

Tom lives in Long Beach, CA USA.
