Kelly Thomas / Bio

Kelly Thomas is a singer-songwriter from Northern Kentucky. Her current projects include; Kelly Thomas and The Fabulous Pickups--an americana project with Jeff Boling, Kevin Hogle, Zac Roe, Greg Hansen and John Bedinghaus. The Tammy WhyNots-a retro country band with Todd Lipscomb, David Rhodes Brown, Sylvia Mitchell, Greg Schramm and John Schmidt. "Spirits of Hank" 8 Hank Williams songs originally recorded in Cincinnati at Herzog studios. I recorded these songs with Arlo McKinley & Friends. The album will be released on Dec 21, 2013.

Always looking for new and creative collaborations Thomas released an EP in 2009 with Ryan Malott of 500 Miles to Memphis on Deep Elm Records. The pair were nominated for both, New Artist and Best Country Act, by The Cincinnati Entertainment Awards in 2009.

She also created The Hayseed Tabernacle Choir in 2010 and cut a 14 song gospel album. HTC was made up of group of super talented Cincinnati Artists; Ma Crow, Brad Meinerding, Sylvia Mitchell, John Bedinghaus, Forrest Horn and Jeremy Pittman. The album, "Gone Home", was listed as one of the best releases of 2010 in City Beat Magazine.
