Charlie Dane is an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist. This emerging young artist is a multi-talented musician with the soulful, powerful voice of an older generation. For the past 3 years, Charlie has performed on main stages such as NYC's Sullivan Hall, Long Island's Nassau Coliseum and LA's famous Genghis Cohen. Charlie has completed a 10 song CD entitled Dreamland, music and lyrics penned by Dane. She is currently working on her 2nd record. Charlie has graced stages at several music festivals such as Mountain Jam, South by Southwest, Flood City Music Fest, Long Island Blues Fest, Gathering of the Vibes, Clearwater Music Festival and many others. She has shared the stage with the legendary George Porter, Jr. and has opened for famous New Orleans based bands namely The Radiators, Papa Grows Funk, Soulive and The New Orleans Suspects. Charle recently was direct support for Kenny Wayne Shepherd at The Paramount. Her original music can be described as "pop soul" and she continues to amaze audience with her mature lyrica and nuanced, bluesy milti-octave voice. When Charlie performs, people are naturally drawn to her and moved by her confidence and poise. She is constantly writing, playing live, and working on developing her sound. Her songs are a reflection of who she is and what she has experienced in her short life. She writes about loss, regret, fears, hope and the importance of being an individual who is not afraid to be herself. Charlie’s talent and creativity comes through in everything that she does although her true passion and strength has always been her music.
