I grew up in Miami Florida by the Miami River and also spent time as a child growing up in the Florida Everglades on the Miccosukee reservation. Most of my family was into music my grandmother played Piano for the first Big band all women band Ina ray hutton, My mother the late and great singer percussionist extrodinaire Dianne Lee Nelson sang with a lot of bands Chaka Kun set in with her at the village end Phyllis Hyman was also good friends,Carmen lundy, Bruce Hornsby played piano on my mothers demo along with Dave Mckay the younger brother of Al Mckay Earth Wind and Fire. My Dad Jasper Nelson was the first bass player for my cousins band Tiger Tiger, Influenced by alot of great musicians such as Lindsey Blair,Harry Jacobs,Peter Harris, Jasper Nelson but When I grew up listening to Mr.Jimi Hendrix.The first instrument I played was Violen,Viola,stand up bass than I met the guitar In love with music at that point which was about the age of 12. I played with bands ranging from Smoke in Cali, I.T.C. in coconut grove,Steal and Ivory in Florida,Leo Casino and the Florida players, Classic perfomers for the 3rd annaul gospel awards to honor Mahalia Jackson with sanchez and well as other groups. I played on the track "I'm from the ghetto" for Cool and Dre that is on Dj Khalis " We the best" album. Also featured on that album Little Wayne as well as Trick Daddy. Than I was Scott Storch guitar player for a hot minute when He was on Palm Island and played on a yound lady named Cindy under innerscope records. I am currently with The Band The Wild Coconuts!!!
