Caesar delivers exquisite renditions of classic standards and romantic love ballads that have left audiences around the world in a trance, well after the last note is sung. A former background vocalist for Julio Iglesias, Caesar's voice is a direct link to the golden age of true vocal artistry and has often been compared to that of Nat "King" Cole, but Caesar has his own interpretation and style, that compares to no-one, and is essentially and superbly.....Caesar.
A Chicago native, and graduate of Southern University, Caesar got his first break when he nailed an audition for Julio Iglesias at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, becoming the first and only baritone vocalist to perform with the legendary performer who has sold over 300 million records on his Tango World Tour. Caesar possesses that rare ability to sing in multiple languages. Whether singing unplugged or swinging with his big band Caesar’s voice captures a world audience.
His well anticipated debut album, "Caesar Sings Nat "King" Cole" will soon be released. Engineered by Al Schmitt (winner of 21 Grammy Awards) at Capitol Studios, in Studio A, using the orginal microphone and Steinway piano Nat "King" Cole used in the 1950's. Caesar sings in 4 languages on this album and he's joined by his good friend International Jazz Guitarist Peter White who plays on 7 songs.
Caesar has toured, performed and shared the sage with: Julio Iglesias, Lou Rawls, Herbie Hancock, Stanley Clark, Nancy Wilson, George Duke, Al Jarreau, Kirk Whalum, Rachelle Farrell, Jonathan Butler, Gerald Albright, Rick Braun, James Ingram, Pieces of a Dream, and Peter White, just to name a few.
