Waiting for Tim / Bio

Waiting for Tim started out as grade school friends from Ennis, Texas, with a common interest in music. At 18, the guys started the band mainly to give themselves something to do outside of school. After learning some covers and playing a couple of shows, the band went off to their respective colleges. But every time the guys made it back to band practice, they would meet up and work on music together. It wasn’t until drummer Chris Ellington left Baylor University to pursue music that things started getting serious. After just short of a year, the band is now up and running with a demo album ready and shows getting booked by the minute. The band has many influences, ranging from light and punk rock to heavy metal and even classical. The guys have managed to bring all of their influences together to create an interesting and ear-catching mix of musical structuring and lyrical mastering. You can’t possibly put just one style of music on this band, as the wide range of styles offer new and exciting moments in each and every piece of music they write. Add on to that intellectual and meaningful lyrics and you have Waiting for Tim. Each member of the band brings a different type of stage experience with them to add to the live show. From heavy metal mosh pits to classical concert halls, from acoustic bars to some of the best live venues in Dallas, this band has seen it all, and they use that experience to offer a live show worth attending again and again. realeditorbest profile toolsrealeditorbest profile tools
