Dave Katsikas is a singer/songwriter born in Manchester New Hampshire. He grew up in Manchester where he found his tallent for music at the young age of 8. He started playing his primary instrument the Piano at age 8 and singing at age 9 in the choir at school. At age 12 he took on acoustic, bass and electric guitars following in his brothers footsteps. Before too long, Dave was writing some of his first compositions by multitrack recording using bounce techniques from his Nakamichi tape deck to his Teac Tape deck. He wrote his first 10 songs using this method. At age 16 Dave got serious with his music vowing to learn the art of recording and production. He focused on the mixing process and after reading and applying several college level books with his supportive fathers financial assistance he opened his first of many recording studios in his fathers basement. Arthur Katsikas (Daves Father) invested approximately $20,000 in Daves first recording studio and it helped launch his adventure in music. several hundred recorded bands, and about 100 written and produced songs, an awe inspiring internship at Anthony J Restas' Studio Bopnique ( http://bopnique.com/ ) and 3 studios later Dave now lives in Wakefield MA. He completed his Debut album "Let it Rain" in Mid 2014 and has since released it solely on Reverbnation.
Dave is currently working on shopping his music to A&R departments and performing artists while working on a new set of songs for his second album set to release in mid 2016.
