Corinna Jane is a vocalist, lyricist, songwriter and arranger with extensive experience in the Melbourne music industry. Corinna is known for her explosive vocal power, sensual timbre and stunning vocal range. Influenced by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Renee Geyer, Gladys Knight and Minnie Riperton, she has been described as “the female Robert Plant” and her style as one of “effortless beauty”. After a long career as a vocalist, songwriter, performer and recording artist in the vibrant Melbourne music scene, Corinna Jane is currently working on her debut album, with cover material ranging from Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and even Radiohead. The recordings are currently being mixed and the expected release date for the project is mid-2014. In addition to her work as a solo artist, Corinna recently self-released a CD single of recordings with the band Nova. This recording has been compared favourably to the Beatles.
