The Sneaky Bastards formed in 2009 and have quickly become a mainstay on the Colorado music scene. The bands sound combines the gritty songwriting of Mark Brut with the more pop rock stylings of Adam Kilgus. The band also has a knack for selecting choice covers, often by obscure artists, and making them their own. Drawing from influences all over the map, the general consensus in this band is that a great song is where it's at no matter where it lies in the music spectrum. The result has been a sound that is something different on the Denver music scene. In addition to guitarists and vocalists Brut and Kilgus, the band's lineup is comprised of Colorado music veterans Paul Cohen on bass, Ethan Ice on keyboards and Tom Piercy on drums.
The band has performed all over Colorado as such venues as Cervante's and Quixote's True Blue in Denver, the Old Town Pub in Steamboat Springs, the Goat in Keystone and Cactus Jack's in Evergreen, and has appeared on the bill with many other great regional and national touring acts such as Johnny Winter, Bloodkin, Betsy Franck & the Bareknuckle Band, Bret Mosley, the Dyrty Byrds, Daniel Lawrence Walker, Fried Grease and others.
