Self described as Southern Funk, Remedy Krewe is a New Orleans based five piece band that combines elements of guitar-driven southern influenced rock with funky grooves, and soulful vocals reflecting everyday life and the "Laissez le bon temps rouler (let the good times roll)" -attitude that Louisiana is known for all over the world.

Remedy Krewe was established in 2006 by Louisiana born singer songwriter, Dustan Chiasson ,while living and performing in Europe. Upon returning to the states in 2009, the band was reformed and began gigging regularly in the Gulf coast region. The Krewe steadily built a reputation for their ability to extend their original material with free flowing improvisation.

In December 2012, after an extended year of performing, the band pulled the curtain over the Krewe and entered the studio to recording their debut album. With a fresh lineup of musicians from New Orleans and versatile songwriting, Remedy Krewe laid down their brand of music that provide a spectrum of soulful feeling from the rawness of Nola funk right down to the grit of guitar driven rock!

The bands' live repertoire include performances extending the Gulf coast region including the stages of the 2012 Gulfport Music Festival, Tipitina's, House of Blues New Orleans, Blue Moon Saloon, The Blue Nile, and The KREWE of M.O.M.s 2012 Halloween Ball at The Howlin' Wolf.

The band continues to build their reputation as an up and coming live act that performs with atom bomb energy and a feel good attitude.
