Dan Chapplin is a Recording Artiste, Songwriter & Entertainer (born D'Leon Cuthbert Harris 10th, June 1985) in the Caribbean island of Montserrat. Dan Chapplin moved to London in the Winter of 2005 after enduring a decade of the Volcanic crisis in his country. The Soufriere Hills Volcano destroyed nearly half of the small island, since its eruption in July 1995.
In 2008 with the help of Producer Shawn Keyz (aka Midway) of the Corrupted Entertainment camp (CPT) North London, he recorded songs such as Black Woman, Be Mine and Girls Dem, which he performed at the Riverside Suite in Newport, Wales at a Cherine Anderson concert later the same year.
He had the privilege of meeting Sly & Robbie [Taxi Gang] who gave him some sturdy advice for his musical journey.
The young talented Singjay continues to deliver some powerful songs varying from conscious social commentary to hardcore dance-hall music. Dan Chapplin prides his work and believes in making music with substance, his versatility spreads onto different genres of music.
In 2010 Dan Chapplin aka Dilly Rebel commenced work on his first 'Mixtape Project 'Cries of a Gemini Vol.1' from which he released 'Be Mine' on the Sugar Riddim by T'NT Productions.
