With a style best described as retro modern rock, Noisecoil is a hard hitting band with a groove worthy of their roots in south Louisiana. Early influences including Metallica, The Cult, Queensryche and other Metal from the 80s are finely balanced with newer music such as Tool, Seether, Alice In Chains, and Stone Temple Pilots. Comprised of four very distinct personalities, Noisecoil came together due to a love of making music and playing live. And despite their very different musical backgrounds, this quartet has become not only good friends, but a tightly knit musical team - a fact reflected in their dynamic songwriting and live performances. The band’s recently released first CD, “Three” is an arrangement of simple yet catchy hard rock tunes written and recorded when the band was working with their former drummer as a three piece.
Taking cues from The Cure, A Perfect Circle, Duran Duran, Soundgarden and other more experimental bands, the band is eagerly testing new ideas and trying to push boundaries while simultaneously adhering to its original mission: to captivate it's audience with an intense drive and raw simplicity.
So, hold on to your boots, hats and any loose articles of clothing (or not) and get ready for some good rock music!
