faded sf was formed originally in the year 1997 as simply faded... but a few lineup changes, and a myriad of other bands all choosing the same name (years later) prompted the suffix.

the band is currently formed of the husband and wife duo of jeremy and christina true. expressing their love for alternative music in whichever style they care for, their songs range from new order-esque rave ups to quiet His Name is Alive retrospectives. upon hearing their work, the Cure comes to mind, as do the Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, and Slowdive. Other tunes hint at a harder feel akin to Curve, older Nine Inch Nails or Jesus and Mary Chain.

this is not the beginning, or the end. rather, this is where you became aware.
