Vanity Box / Bio

VANITY BOX
‘Next up was VANITY BOX, a sexy bunch of guys whose lead singer had a husky, silky voice like chocolate. Clearly they had some fans in the crowd tonight all nodding their heads intently – and who could blame them? They rocked! - Notts Unsigned Gig Review at The Central, Nottingham

Tom Chambers – Guitar / Vocals | Matt Moult – Bass/ Backing Vocals | Oli Tanner – Lead Guitar| Dom Ridley – Drums

Vanity Box are a rock band from Nottingham, England. Formed in 2009, they cut their teeth in pubs across Nottinghamshire. As pubs across home turf began to fill out with fans, offers of bigger venues and better slots started coming in. The band were hand picked by Sound Of Guns as support at Nottingham Rock City.

Influenced by Kings of Leon, Sound of Guns, Biffy Clyro and Smashing Pumpkins, Vanity Box's sound is admirably heavy on guitars and pounding drums.

“Vanity Box offer a platter of anthemic power chords, jangly guitars and rough ‘n’ ready vocals song after song, forming a trifle-like layering of musical goodness.” - Exposed Magazine

The band are available for publishing and records.

'Go see Vanity Box! You can expect loud guitar-laden rock with an attitude to match'
– Nusic (Nottingham New Music)
