Martin Coughlin / Bio

Martin Coughlin is a Scottish-born singer-songwriter, who has been living and playing in San Diego most of his adult life. As a founding member of nineties pop/rock band, Square Go, and joining forces with his brothers in helping to kick off the career of American Idol singer-songwriter, Morgan Leigh, he released his solo debut 4-song EP, "Occupy Yourself", in March of 2012, under the pseudonym "The Gaffer", to rave reviews. In October of 2013, He released a single, “Forever True (Cleopatra)”, recorded at local La Mesa studio, Track Star. Currently, Martin recorded his first solo full length album, "Postcards From Purgatory", at Studio West in San Diego with producer, Phil Higgins, released in June, 2014.
