Hailing from North Carolina, Clint has drawn inspiration from his home state’s heroes. “There is so much great music that has come out of North Carolina,” Alphin says. “James Taylor is perhaps my biggest influence; his poetic lyrics and unique melodies are what have inspired me to first write songs.”

With a passion for performing and an art for writing, Clint longed to move to Nashville, TN. After graduating from two different universities with bachelor’s degrees (UNC Chapel Hill; Appalachian State), it seemed that the time was right. Soon after moving to Nashville, Clint performed at the famous Bluebird Café. Now a Nashville veteran, with two albums released, Clint is touring the country pleasing audiences of all ages.
