Squeaker, having been compared to bands such as Primary, Nine Inch Nails and Garbage, have played along side many bands around the country in recent times such as Def FX, Virtue, Sydonia, Bellusira, King Of The North, Pseudo Echo and many more.
In 2011 they launched their EP ʻFly Baby Flyʼ to a capacity crowd in their home town of Adelaide, and in 2012 went from strength to strength being shortlisted out of 135 hopefuls to open for The Potbelleez and Wynter Gordon at the Clipsal 500 After Race Concert and opening for Def FX and Pseudo Echo during their reunion tours. In 2014 they released a new single ʻCirclesʼ and have been invited to do a promotional tour of Buenos Aires Argentina, including Hard Rock Caféʼs Pinktober Festival and the International Festival of Musica Emergente.
In the coming months Squeaker will be releasing a full length album ʻIn Love, In Sadnessʼ, which Steve says is “an honest expression of ups and downs that have been experienced over the last five years, which hopefully will speak to people going through similar circumstances”.
