I'm a collaborating songwriter with talented friends. Credits are in the lyrics section. Past bands include Green Lion, Sugarcamp, The Flying Listravians, and Frack.
How did I get here? I was immersed in the thriving 1980s post-punk scene as a budding songwriter. Before that, my grandmother was a small-time country radio star who sold bootleg rockabilly records out at flea markets around Antioch, WV.
I moved to Raleigh in the late 80s, then to the Northwest and then to New Orleans. I worked in music clubs, and eventually I got serious about songwriting, and my bands became fixtures at bars in WV, SWPA, Western Maryland, etc. Because of this, my heroes are not pop icons, but all of the roadhouse rockers and back porch pickers who keep music alive!
In 2012, I moved to Stuart, FL. Now, it's just me, my artist wife, and a custom Tele Thinline. My lady has her own story of rock-n-roll semi-stardom, though that is a thrash metal tale for another day. Let's just say she's only available on vinyl. In the meantime, enjoy these tunes and I'll do my best to put up some new material now and then.
