Kyle Bennett has been surrounded by music his entire life (both parents were music directors at the family’s church in Ft. Worth and have released their own Christian gospel albums), it’s no surprise that he followed suit from an early age.
Ft. Worth, TX was the birth place of a newly formed Texas band which became known as The Kyle Bennett Band. 2005, They quickly started making their mark in the region. By July of 2007 they cut their first album “The Red Album” known for its great southern style and rock feel. Several of that album’s songs are still quite popular. Songs like “Adios”, “Later On”, “I’m Gone” and “Donnelly Drive”, which was their first track to make it in to the Top 10 on Texas Regional Charts.
In April of 2009, they released a second album “Grey Sunrise”. Again, that album had several popular songs in Texas, 2 of which made the Top 10 on the Texas Regional Charts. “Jimmy & Josie” and “Should’ve Listened”. Other tracks show the talent of Bennett’s writing and soulful, southern voice like “When the Lights Go Down” and “Time To Switch To Whiskey”.
The Kyle Bennett Band’s combined talents went on to produce three new songs that were released in 2011. The unmistakably clear voice and smooth inflection that are core to Kyle Bennett’s sound were evident in his new single “Here In This Town” that reached #8 on the Texas Music Charts, #4 on the Tex Net 50, and #10 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. Singles “Track Won” and “Pills” were also created during this time and are available for download as a 3 song album.
