Glen Mock & The Tropical Dreamers / Bio

Glen Mock founded the Tropical Dreamers in 2011, originally as a duo act. The band performs both originals and popular cover tunes. As the songwriter for the band, Glen writes from life experiences, and the bands’ songs convey the vibe of the ocean and the island lifestyle.

The band debuted their first self-titled album, “Glen Mock & The Tropical Dreamers,” in July 2013. The album is on regular rotation on popular Trop Rock radio stations such as Beachfront Radio, The Shore, Island Dreamz, Permanent Vacation, et al.

The Tropical Dreamers performed before the Jimmy Buffett Concert in Kansas City in 2011, the pre-Buffett party in Kansas City in 2012 and the 2013 Kansas City’s Parrot Fest event, with Nidirah Shakoor (vocalist with the Jimmy Buffett band) joining the stage on several songs. They headlined for the NW Arkansas parrot head club’s Beach House on the Hill event in July 2013, and have performed around the KC area in various venues.

Live performances include a mix of original material as well as popular cover tunes from artists such as Kenny Chesney, Zack Brown, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, among others. The Tropical Dreamers are available to perform as a solo, duo, or full band. For booking info and inquires, contact: Glen Mock -- glenmock1@gmail.com
