19 year old Sam Barlow picked up his first guitar at the age of six and soon after, began taking lessons. He's never looked back.
At eleven years old he started taking lesson from Santana alumni Robert Chaky. Sam is a dedicated 'Blues Man' and his musical style and repertoire includes (but is not limited to) Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Carson Alexander, Eric Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Jonny Lang, Phillip Sayce, Albert King, and Monte Montgomery.
Sam's electrifying performance, technique, and style captured first place in the 2010 El Paso "King Of The Blues" guitar competition sponsored by Guitar Center. Sam then went on to represent El Paso in the state finals held in Houston where he finished in 2nd place.
