The TrueHeart single "The Road" ended up at number 27 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart and was the only indie release for 2007 to make it to the Mediabase top 100 tracks for that same year. With roots deep in the acoustic rock vineyards of The Beatles, Paul Simon, Dan Fogelberg, Kenny Rankin,James Taylor and Joni Mitchell songwriter Ross Vick goes more for nuance than in your face lyrics and melodies. Letting the listener make the song their own rather than have a sentiment spoonfed is a refreshing feature of their CD "The Road." The production and execution of the record is top shelf. The live show allows Vick to tell the story behind the song and gets the audience involved with the journey. His vintage 1982 Taylor 510 is as rich and as mellow as are Vick's vocals and lyrics. With performances at Le Hotel Mercure in Dijon, France; The Cavern Club in Liverpool; The Exit In in Nashville and Poor David's Pub in Dallas, TrueHeart pleases fans on both sides of the pond.
