There is only my kiwi-self in FOTF + drum machine. I grew up in the small town of Wairoa, NZ and a guitar was always being played at a party. It's where I learned to play my first tune (Smoke On The Water) on a ukelele when I was about 7yrs old. I loved listening to the old 45s' my Nana and Aunties would play on her stereogram - Englebert was my favourite. Then in my early teens it was Disco and then classic heavy rock and Hendrix in my late teens and twenties. This was followed by the Seattle scene and SRV in my 30s and 40s. Now its just creating music that is a result of those times in my life.
My songs are a bit rough in places and unfinished but it will do. Most of the vocals are ab libbed...i consider myself a guitarist and not a singer. My music is what it is for the moment. I record using a small portable recorder I use headphones to monitor the sound so hp's are needed for best results. Thanks for dropping by...FOTF.
