"When you see the Buddha, kill the Buddha"
We write music, because it must be written. It's all an experiment, matching sounds and feelings, and noise with emotion. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. But that in your pigeon and hole it.
In order to achieve what we want, we must kill that which represents our want, lest we spend all our time idolizing those who have attained what we can only dream. When that moment comes, there is an equality of realization, that the Buddha can die, and can die by the hand of the Buddha. When the knife goes in, and the jaw goes slack, we are all the Buddha. We are all the SlackJaw Buddha.
