Lowkey is a 4-piece original metal band from New York state. The band's sound has been described by critics as "thick", "heavy", "oozing", "tight", and "slinky". Using complex tones and driving rhythms, as well as incredibly dynamic vocals, Lowkey has captured the hearts and minds of fans from all walks of life.

Lowkey has been playing shows and writing music since 2003, with the current lineup being steady since 2009.
The band has embarked on four separate independent national tours of the U.S. (including one in March 2012) and has fans all over the world.

Lowkey has released 2 full length albums, and a 3rd on the way (preorders now in progress). "Backstabber" has sold thousands of copies since it was recorded in 2004, and "Red Moon" has sold several hundred since its release in March of 2011. We are very excited for the release of the new album "Forward", and hope that it does very well.

Lowkey has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with MANY touring bands, including Tantric, Mushroomhead, Emmure (twice), Goatwhore, Winds of Plague, Carnifex, Suffocation, See You Next Tuesday, Full Blown Chaos, Flaw, Burn Halo, A Plea For Purging, Rose Funeral, This Or The Apocalypse, Dizzy Reed (of Guns 'n' Roses), and many many more. Lowkey has also played thousands of shows on the local and regional scene.

Lowkey is well-known and well respected for putting on a wild and energetic live show, and promoting a sense of family amongst our friends and fans.
