As a singer/songwriter, Gracie has toured internationally, playing England’s festival circuit and singing in several noteworthy American venues such as Hollywood’s Viper Room and The San Diego House of Blues.
With a sound compared to the likes of Duffy and Norah Jones, Gracie has been making huge strides of late, frequently touring America. In early 2011, she released Gracie in America, a five-part documentary filmed in California about making it in the music industry. Her film has been selected to showcase at this year’s Norfolk BBC Film Fest. Please watch Gracie in America at www.myspace.com/gracielecoixwright.
Musically, despite a rigorous touring schedule, Gracie’s career continues to gain speed. In June of 2011, she released her new EP, Seasons, consisting of tracks she recorded with widely renowned producer Phill Brown (Bombay Bicycle Club, Jeff Beck, Nick Drake) as well as the rock tune “Smoke You,” recorded with Hollywood producer Marc Jordan. With the recent support of BBC Introducing, Gracie’s songs have received frequent rotation on the local airwaves.
