Think.Like.Computers is a Kansas City-based ambient indie rock band that grew out of a desire to create something familiar, yet different. Eric and BJ met when Eric joined DestinationGO, after moving to the KC area in 2008. When DestinationGO disbanded in 2009, Eric and BJ agreed it was in their future to continue on and create something new together. Over the next 8 months, they wrote and recorded numerous demos, which would then be used to find the remaining pieces to the musical puzzle.
Matt and Ryan joined in late 2009, both coming from diverse musical backgrounds, like Eric and BJ. A little more than a year later, Ryan decided to pursue other interests, but right around that time, an old friend was moving back to KC after two years in Japan. The timing was right, and the pices fit, yet again, as Dustin (former singer for DesinationGO) moved in to handle the low-end duties. The resulting sounds are a mixture of influences, with an emphasis on creative, yet accessible song-writing. Sometimes mournful, sometimes ecstatic, other times contemplative or swooning, the ethereal textures created by the foursome are always full of passion for the one constant in their lives.
