Wild Deuce, is a vocal duo, that has been together since 2001; Michael Sands on guitar and vocals, and Taffi Anderson on vocals. Based out of Reno, NV, after playing 5-6 sets of cover material for the last 15 years in that markets club scene, Sands relocated the act to Nashville, where he hopes to focus on writing original material for their act. After a year and a half, the duo has released the first attempt at that effort, with the CD, "Finger Lick'n and Bettah Buy The Bucket". The material on this CD is edgy, clever, and diversely mixed with a little dash of this, that and the other thing; blues, rock and country-much like the cover material that the duo made a living at, back in the casino/club circuit of Nevada. Every cut on the new album, was produced and recorded by Sands, out of the couple's one bedroom apartment, in Hendersonville, TN, which is a little suburb, just North of Nashville, and Sands plays most of the instruments on the project. While the sound on "Finger Lick'n and Bettah Buy The Bucket" is not the polished, Nashville production that you find on contemporary FM, Pop Country radio, the songs are very good, and the vocal blend of Sands and Anderson, are an example of what 15 years of singing together on stage will do to you.
