Moriba Marcano was born on the Island of Trinidad the most southerly isle of the Caribbean Archipelago.
He is a self contained artist and has 3 albums and 2 ep singles that he produced himself.

He learned basic music theory at around 5 years of age from his father.
After an early career in acting for stage and television, which included over a
dozen major full length productions and a couple television series.
At 16 he moved to the USVI and started pursuing a degree in Business Law at the University there.
But was soon living with his first band, a small punk/grunge/altrenative outfit.
@ 18 he hit Colorado briefly and after a short stint in Denver where he played bass/guitar in a Trini Reggae band that gigged
regularly on the College and Ski Resort circuit and after turning down an offer from Apple Records to do a Lenny Kravitz cover, he
hit Boulder to start his own Reggae Band which he called the Messengers of Jah. Then he returned to the USVI and started
working the hotel/resort/restaurant circuit playing for the rich and famous and locals alike @ local Ritz-Carltons, Marriotts,
Renaiisance Grands, Holiday Inns, Hard Rock Cafe's etc. During this time he started freelancing on both guitar and steeldrums
with Reggae, Rock, Jazz, Blues and Soca Bands on the Island. After doing this primarily in the USVI but also in South Beach,
Miami. He produced and recorded a few ep Cd singles of his own in around 2000, in roughly 2003 he returned to Trinidad to
produce his first full length CD 'Trini Girl'. He also did some innovative work as both a producer, engineer and session musician
working mostly with local Calypso, Soca and Ragga Soca artists but also with local Soca Parang, Gospel, R&B, Rap and Rock
In 2008 he moved to California and became relatively busy as a freelance guitarist on the Reggae and Punta Rock circuits. He then fronted his own bands in Southern California and Trinidad, recorded 'Moriba Marcano Live @ the Corner Bar' in 2009 then the 2010 studio album 'How Bad Do You Want It?' and a couple of ep singles in 2011. In 2012 he uploaded a string of singles as exclusive downloads for his online supporters and started his 2012 US season with shows on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA.
In early 2013 he released 'The Singles Volume 1' featuring 26 original songs and remixes.
Plans are afoot for a new band, he continues to perform live, is producing other artists and a new album featuring more dance/club/electronic rock is in the works.
