Sensuous Enemy is a female fronted darkwave electronic band that blends driving drum sequences, hard techno and EBM synth lines, combines powerful velvety vocals with the use of orchestral strings, piano, and vocal harmonies, and adds live electric rhythm guitar, bass and drums in order to create a regally sublime audio/visual experience.
SE is led by the beautiful, vibrant, and powerful frontwoman JAI [Vocals/Piano/Lyrics] along with John Freriks [Programmer/Guitarist], Bob Hensley [Keybaords], and Katja Lunde [Synthesizer].
Sensuous Enemy is currently working on their next full length album titled "Voyager" to be released summer of 2013. Previously, their most recent 3P "Parity" was recorded, mixed and produced by Dan Clark of "The Dark Clan" and mastered by Eric Oehler of "Null Device".
In 2008 their first full length CD "Fragments" was recorded, mixed and produced by Wade Alin of The Atomica Project and went on to win "Best Electronic Album of the Year" and "Best Electronic Song of the Year" with "Over", at the 2008 Madison Area Music Awards.
Sensuous Enemy's very first EP "Deadly Sins" was recorded and produced in house by JAI, Laurence Mohr, Brian Schuh, and Winton in 2005. There were only 100 copies of this CD made so it is a rare find if you ever happen to find it.
