Greg Ward / Bio

Greg started playing bass in the early 70's, playing in local rock, blues and country bands around Topeka, Kansas. Later moving to Austin, Texas in pursuit of his passion, Greg felt right at home as a rocking country bassist in the Texas music scene. After returning to Kansas a decade later for a business opportunity, Greg enjoyed playing in various country and blues/rock bands as well as infusing the rocking country sounds into a couple of contemporary Christian music projects. Greg also began writing original music including his Tea Party anthem song called, "Keep the Eagle Free". Using his music to inspire the tea party movement, Greg assembled a group of talented singers and musicians to form a group called the CROSSROADS REVIVAL BAND that enjoyed performances in Washington D.C. at the Americans for Prosperity Defending the American Dream Summit (2011), CTxPAC convention in Austin, Texas (2012) and various tea party events throughout the Midwest.

Greg remains passionate about music and being part of a serious project. His commitment, professional attitude and melodic style of playing is truly unique. If you seek a creative bass player to be part of something special, contact Greg at seven 8 five, seven, six, six, 1 seven 3 nine.
