Doom/Stoner/Sludge Metal band based in Gothenburg Sweden.

Doomdogs was formed in 2007 by guitarist and composer Christer "Chris The Riff" Cuñat.

Doomdogs vocalist Tomas "GG" Eriksson was the drummer in the original line-up of the classic Swedish Death/Black Metal band Grotesque, a precursor to At The Gates.

In December 2011 Doomdogs played as support act for the legendary cult doom band PENTAGRAM (U.S.) on their Scandinavian tour and doom-riff-meister Victor Griffin of Pentagram (and Place Of Skulls) also made a guest appearance (guitar-solo on the track "A National Acrobat" - Black Sabbath cover) on Doomdogs second full-length album "Unleash The Truth".

DOOMDOGS participates on the Ozzy Osbourne tribute album "No More Tears - A Millennium Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne" with a heavy-as-hell cover version of the classic Black Sabbath song N.I.B. .....
"No More Tears - A Millennium Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne" was released as a 3-CD set July 10th 2012 by Versailles Records (U.S.) and consist of covers of Ozzy's solo material as well as his work with the mighty Black Sabbath. .....
"No More Tears - A Millennium Tribute To Ozzy Osbourne" features the following musicians, among others : Eric Singer (KISS, BLACK SABBATH, BADLANDS, THE CULT), Gregg Bissonette (JOE SATRIANI, STEVE VAI, DAVID LEE ROTH, SANTANA, STEVE LUKATHER), Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER), Chris Poland (MEGADETH), Vince Neil (MÖTLEY CRÜE), George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB), Keri Kelli (ALICE COOPER, RATT, L.A. GUNS), Stu Hamm (JOE SATRIANI, STEVE VAI), Derrick LeFevre (LILLIAN AXE)...and many many more.

Doomdogs will this fall (2012) be recording a Split 7" EP together with the U.S. doom/sludge band War Injun (Maryland). The Split 7" will contain two brand new songs by each band and will be released by Svart Records.

Christer and Patrik (Doomdogs) are now (since July 2012) sponsored by the Australian guitar-building company "Inferno Hand Crafted Guitars" and will from now on get guitars and basses custom-built to their specifications by Inferno Hand Crafted Guitars.

Doomdogs now also have their own beer - "Doomdogs Gothenburg Strong Ale", it's a dark Ale brewed and distributed by "Åsundens Bryggeri" in Ulricehamn Sweden.

Doomdogs have so far released two full-length albums and are now in the process of writing and rehearsing material for their third full-length album (to be released early 2013). The debut album "DoomDogs" was released February 2010 by Doomentia Records (CD/CD-digi) and High Roller Records (Vinyl LP) and the second album "Unleash The Truth" was released September 2011 by Doomentia Records (CD, CD-book and double Vinyl LP).
