Sober Down has been named “Utah’s best reggae band” by The Huka Reggae Lounge; the nation’s largest hookah lounge. Holding a spot every other Saturday on The Huka’s stage. Sober Down; enthusiastic reggae/rock band formed in early 2009 has played festivals, television, parties in the desert and all of their favorite local bars and venues.
Sober Down is scheduled to release their debut album “Pressure” on January 9, 2010; an epic CD release concert at a cabin where fans can spend the night dancing and partying with Sober Down will be held for this great achievement. The guys in SD like to take a normal situation and turn it into an extreme and enthusiastic one with every event they hold.
“Pressure” has been a long awaited album for many. With singer Aaron Fox and guitarist Tim Bassett fueling this project for years they were finally able to find the other members to complete what they started so long ago. With Aaron Fox's driven lyrics, Tim Bassett's unforgettable guitar playing, Matt Call on trumpet and Nate Smith on Sax they have created a new and diverse sound that is rapidly flowing through their hometown and across the nation.
SD are moving forward quickly, planning their tour for most of 2010, starting in February, they will be able to showcase their debut album "Pressure." On January 9, 2010 "Pressure" can be found at any Graywhale location, iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon.
