Aviva is an Israeli-American singer songwriter who has written with many different sound influences including pop, folk, rock, blues, jazz, roots, new age and world beats.
Aviva and the Flying Penguins are an organic, evolving group of talented and entertaining musicians. They have toured up and own the east coast to as far as Vermont and Maine and down to Florida. Their critically acclaimed and rewarded CD 'Painted Truth', featuring "Change", "Emet", "Cannabis Car" and more than 10 other uplifting tunes is available online and at shows http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/avivaandtheflyingpenguin ~ They also recently released a summer radio-ready cut of "True Love's Not a Secret" June 2014! An earlier project "Grin I Sense" is a recording that can fit a little more into the new age healing category along with their recently released instrumental "Flying Penguin Lullabies". Their popular videos feature fun stories and costumes. They are set to release two more videos from "Painted Truth" along with another album this summer called "Key Of You". In 2013 they blogged every Sunday and produced the YOUTUBE sensation "Sunday Songwriting" writing virtually a new song every week. Fronted by a modern-day Love child, Aviva, AATFP's original sound is unquestionably a gift to the masses and something we've all been waiting for.
