Tony’s passion for music started at a very young age when he began playing drums. This passion led him to studying music and earning a degree in Jazz Performance from Temple University as a percussionist. While studing music, Tony also spent his time playing in numerous bands in the Philadelphia area experimenting in several musical genres from pop to progressive rock which gave him the musical versatility and style that is evident in his music today. Tony’s most notable early music collaboration was playing and recording with Scott McGill, guitar virtuso, in the progressive jazz fusion band, The Hand Farm.
After leaving the Hand Farm, Tony established himself as both a Physicist/Rocket Scientist and a Marathoner while taking a break from the music scene.
Today Tony is working with Grammy Award winning producer Anthony Newett. In 2010 he recorded his second EP, “Going to California”, and won awards in Mike Pinder’s song wars competition. From his upcoming 2011 release, “the Second Time Around”, Tony has been selected to appear on the the Alternate Root’s Valentine’s Day Sampler CD and has also won the Grand Prize in the Airomee Wind / Skope Magazine feature artist competition.
