Mikie Huffman is a vocalist, actor, musician, and, an instructor of Voice, Piano, Saxophone, Clarinet, Guitar, and, Music Theory. Mikie is from Mooresville, North Carolina. He studied Vocal Performance at Central Piedmont Community College with an Associate in Fine Arts Degree under the Instruction of World-Renowned Soprano, Rebeca Cook-Carter, and, has studied Voice with with Charlotte Baritone; Harrison Bumgarder. He has studied Piano with Dr. Roxanne Holt-Watson, and, accompanies the Voice Students on Piano at CPCC. Mikie has also studied Modern Music Composition with prolific composer, Dr. Craig Bove.
In 2009, Mikie founded an Independent Record Label for which he wrote, performed, recorded, and produced Country, Americana, R & B, and, Country-Christian music for himself, and, other local talents. Mikie's music has been featured internationally on ITunes, Amazon, and other international digital distributors. He has published albums for Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Multi-Award Winning Keith Sasser. He has also produced a Country-Gospel EP for Terry Durham, and, an EP for Josiah Atchley of Knoxville, Tennessee, which has received generous airplay in the Knoxville, TN area.
Mikie is currently working on writing, and, recording new, and, exciting studio projects. He has performed in numerous Opera, and, Theatre Productions: including 'Made in the USA - A Tribute to Gershwin and Bernstein', Mozart's 'The Magic Flute', 'Verdi's La Traviata', Poulenc's 'Dialogues of the Carmelites', and, was a member of the ensemble in the CPCC Opera, and, Musical Theater Collaborative 2013 Production of 'Les Miserables', portraying "Grantaire", and, various other characters. Mikie was most recently is a member of the Ensemble for the CPCC Opera Theatre's Production of Mozart's 'Don Giovanni'
