Rowsy Bosch feat. Jeb Havens is a newly formed, San Francisco-based pop/dance collaboration between electronic music producer and composer Oliver Voigt and singer/songwriter Jeb Havens. With both artists coming from the opposite side of the spectrum, the result is a unique blend of classic singer/songwriter elements and contemporary production.
Oliver Voigt’s musical success began in the late 90s in Germany, where he had multiple releases, chart successes on Germany’s DJ charts, and wrote songs for boy bands such as Caught in the Act (Netherlands). After moving to San Francisco in 2003, he started working on a new sound and connected with Jeb Havens through a mutual producer friend.
Jeb Havens has been singing, playing the piano, and writing songs since the age of 10. Since moving to San Francisco in 2007, he has performed at numerous venues and events in SF and LA, including Sonoma Pride, Red Devil Lounge, Lone Star Saloon, Easter in the Park, Kimo’s, SF Pride, and Martuni’s Piano Bar, where he co-hosts a monthly showcase of local queer music called Homophonic. He has performed with numerous touring artists, including grammy-winning gay singer/songwriter Matt Alber.
