The Mysteios started as a side project for Johnny Mystery, former bassist with Blackcat Elliot and included an ever changing line up of local guest artists. The current band began to take shape in late 2008 with the production of the album 'Pronounced Misty-Ohs'. This album included Johnny, Professor Moe B. and 'Tambourine Girl" Sam and was produced by Vermont natives Bitch Kitty. The spring of 2009 saw the Mysteios unique sound take shape with the inclusion of Mark LaRose of The Chris Biscone Band on drums and vocals, and the multi-talented Manfred Manslaughter on the keys. A new line-up was in place in Sept. 2011, with Mark LaRose moving to drums, and Jo Agpovich on bass. February also saw the release of a 45 single 'Bustin' Up Everything!'.
