Emily Grove / Bio

Winner of two Asbury Music Awards for Best Female Acoustic Act (2011 &2012),and three Jersey Acoustic Music Awards (2011 & 2012, Top Female Vocalist and Top Female Songwriter) singer-songwriter Emily Grove is a featured player on the vibrant Asbury Park music scene, playing with and opening for the likes of Glen Burtnik, Willie Nile, Ari Heist, Rhett Miller (Old 97s), Marshall Crenshaw, Dan Reed, John Lefler (Dashboard Confessional) and many others. She frequently joins Paul Marino and his popular Jersey Shore cover band, and is a member of Glen Burtnik's "Mattison Avenue Hillbillies."

She recently finished a tour of the UK and parts of the US, opening for and playing with David Ford. Her first EP, "Way Across the Sea" was produced by Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz). Her upcoming album "Life of a Commoner", produced by Jason Rubal of Seventh Wave Studio (Amanda Palmer) will be released very soon. Her beautiful, unique voice has stopped people in their tracks on the Asbury Park boardwalk, and is at the heart of everything she does.
