Beau was born and bred in Washington County, TX. Over the years, his love for music got him writing songs, and eventually performing those songs. His first album, "This Round's On Me", released in 2007, was mostly self-produced and included some local guest musicians, including harmonica player Doyle Spitzer.
In 2008, Beau met Josh Reddoch (percussionist), and starting regularly jamming on his back porch. Soon, Beau invited Doyle to come over to jam. The "Backporch Shufflers" began. Eventually, Racecar Jim Bernick was added on bass.
The following year, the Backporch Shufflers kept jamming on the porch, perfecting their sound, then recorded it. The result was "Undertow".
In May 2011 "Six Pack: The Dirty Half Dozen" was released.
