Suzanne Vick / Bio

Described by many as a “powerhouse vocalist,” Suzanne Vick is a commanding & versatile performer who instills her own soulful style into all of her songwriting. Suzanne has released five original titles to date, including her debut album, "The Brightness of Orchids" in 2009 for which she was voted “Best Singer/Songwriter” in the New Haven Advocate’s 2010 & 2011 Grand Band Slams (reader’s poll).

Suzanne teaches voice, piano, songwriting and music theory, and performs throughout the region both as a solo artist and with her brother, Brian as “The Light Hearts.” Suzanne is celebrating the release of her first music video for “I Wanna Know,” which she co-wrote with CT-based musician Ed Daniels as part of an album project called “Collaborations.” The video was voted #1 in the POP category of the Intel Video Superstars contest on Ourstage.com (May 2012 edition).

Suzanne’s songs have been featured on many internet radio shows such as RuKus Radio, Butterflies Radio and the Women of Substance Radio Show, and can be found on iTunes and CDBaby.com! Check out www.SuzanneVick.com for more info...
