Qiensave: singer, songwriter, artist, was born in Los Angeles California and has made his life all over the state. Traveling to where he finds work and making it his home wherever that may be. His life involves his music, Theater writing and loving.
Qiensave was born in Los Angeles and was raised on the border of watts and Southgate where he lived till the age sixteen. At sixteen in pursue of a better life his parent decided to move the family to a quieter place five hours north away from the city life. At nineteen Qiensave left back to los Angeles in pursue of career in cinema which lead him to north Hollywood where he had to do a variety of jobs to survive.
With these frustration came the blues and with those blues flowed a river of thoughts and melodies, which he kept in a bag. Using the guitar as a therapy to escape the frustration of every day life Qiensave learned to hone his words and voice to the simple chords. After about four years of playing with his sound, Qiensave recorded his first mix tape style album titled Bella Ciudad. The single “Bella ciudad” got the attention of many listeners which included the director Eric Stoltz who used it as background music for a scene on the NBC internet show titled quarter life, and Angelo Moore lead singer of fishbone who eventually signed him to his label mooremapp reords in 2011.
His travels haven’t stopped there. Qiensave has kept moving to where the work calls. After taking time to write and record a couple tracks Qiensave formed the band “Qiensave” to travel with him through his musical journey the band is composed of six members. Alejandro guitarist of Dubdog, William Cortez bassist from los Tiliches, on drum Javier, lili on melodian, and victor percussions Together with Qiensave form "Qiensave".
