Silverstone formed in 2003 around the idea that music is the ultimate outlet in which to channel emotion. This journey began with five friends in the middle of Arkansas that decided to put music first - simply for the love of it. With dreams of discovering themselves and playing on big stages with bands they admired, the guys wasted no time in achieving those aspirations. Silverstone soon found themselves playing alongside acts such as Flyleaf, Trapt, and Drowning Pool. Crafting their sound in just a few short years, all the effort put forth was just a stepping stone for the journey ahead. Two self released albums and hundreds of miles in touring were the catalyst to events that could only happen to a band located only a short 25 miles from Bentonville, AR. It wasn’t long before Silverstone caught the attention of Wal Mart executives. After seeing them live, head buyer Norman Hurd signed the band to a new artist deal. 2011 will see the first major release from Silverstone and hundreds of live audiences will see what the buzz is all about.
