Based in Nashville, TN, Jeff is a full-time songwriter, producer and session guitarist on Music Row. His songs have been recorded by George Strait, Doug Stone, Sarah Darling, Grammy-winning zydeco artist Chubby Carrier, teen sensation Daisy Mallory, American Idol finalist Mishavonna and many more.
On the road, Jeff spent 15 years as bandleader and guitarist for Hall of Fame artist Glen Campbell. He's also played on tours with Kenny Chesney, Tammy Cochran and an additional 3 years with Lee Greenwood. His TV appearances include the Today Show and Late Night With Conan O’Brien, and venues from the White House to Royal Albert Hall.
In the studio, Jeff's producer credits include Buck Owens, Glen Campbell and the Kingston Trio, plus many regional and developing artists like Matt Stell and the Crashers, Angels Landing, Daisy Mallory and CMT discovery Chance McKinney.
Jeff was the founder of the Nashville Writer Posse, a collective group of established and rising talent, many of whom have gone on to major publishing and artist contracts..
Jeff also serves as the Pro mentor for the Phoenix, AZ and Honolulu, Hawaii regional workshops of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, leads songwriting workshops around the country as part of NSAI's Pros on the Road program.
Jeff is an active community volunteer, whether he’s at home or on the road. He coaches YMCA youth soccer, brings music programs into schools and hospitals, plays guitar in his church band, teaches songwriting in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Words & Music program where he mentors student songwriters, and he also helps with community cleanup projects.
