Dina began her journey as a songwriter at the age of ten as her fingers naturally stroked the piano keys for the first time. Always musically inclined, Dina spent her childhood playing the cello and singing in school choirs. It was not until she discovered the piano in her home that she quickly found a passion for original composition. She began to develop her confidence as a songwriter and her poise as a performer.
In 2008, Dina's music aired on local radio programs WLBK 1360 and WJJG AM 1530. Dina was recognized as a finalist in the Chicago Tribune New Holiday Song Contest for her heartfelt original, "What Christmas Means". With a 4th place finish overall, Dina's song later aired on Chicago’s WGN morning radio.
In June 2010, Dina self-released her EP Beginnings, as her music soared to #15 on Reverb Nation's local Pop Chart.
Dina shares the stage with Chicago's #1 dance band Green Thirteen, performing as lead vocalist/keyboardist in shows all over Chicago and surrounding states. Playing on Chicago's very own Odyssey II Cruise Ship at Navy Pier, Dina proves herself as not only an award-winning songwriter, but also an exceptional entertainer.
Performing as "Dina Daffodil" in children's rock band Raisin Rhyme, Dina plays a key role in educating kids on the importance of staying active and eating healthy through a highly interactive musical show. Raisin Rhyme has been awarded the “Gold Seal” by the Excellence in Family Media Association and were announced a winner in the 2009 John Lennon International Songwriting Competition.
Dina's drive and energy does not stop there, this multi-faceted musician has started her own business composing wedding songs unique to every couple's love story.
