The funkadelic blues rock of Box 100s is starting to turn heads in their home city of New Orleans. “Pure raucous, belly-ache rock” is how producer Charlie Fach of Platinum Plus Universal in Nashville put it after seeing them play at a local music showcase. Box 100s are known for their well crafted songwriting, tight grooves, and furious guitar playing. All of this is evident in their music and performance, which delivers a raw, pure energy. Since forming in 2004, the band has created their own unique style by channeling the sounds of 60s and 70s rock under toned with southern soul and funky rhythms. Hoping to take a run at the festival circuit, the band plans to finish the recording process by early spring. Spread the Love.
