Amanda Bentley / Bio

Amanda Bentley is a Toronto based songwriter/recording artists/producer. She has worked with legendary producers Greig Nori (from Much Music’s hit show Disband, Hedley, Sum 41), Gavin Brown (Billy Talent, Sarah Harmer), Matt Brann (Avril Lavigne) and has toured the country with the likes of Tom Cochrane and Jimmy Chamberlin of the Smashing Pumpkins.

Signing with Maple Music Division, Fontana North/RCD Music in 2006, Amanda released 2 E.P.s with international airplay and won three songwriting awards from the Billboard World Song Writing Competition.

She is the founder of the popular “GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS” series; a showcase that features women in music every month at the renowned Cameron House in Toronto and has twice been a guest performer at the Girls with Guitars Series.

Amanda is also the recipient of two
FACTOR grants and has endorsement from Fender Guitars.

In 2009, Amanda gave birth to a baby boy who inspired her latest album “WOAH BABY! Silly Songs for Fun Loving Babies”, a compilation of children’s music that is available on iTunes and in stores across Canada.
